# Icon usage policy

## Project scope: draw.io architecture diagrams only

Commercial software and service icons in this project are provided solely to identify the corresponding products in architecture diagrams created with draw.io / diagrams.net, including those diagrams embedded in technical documentation. They are not offered for other distribution purposes, including standalone icon republication, icon resale, stock-asset packs, advertising, merchandise, or use as another product's logo or app icon. This is a purpose limitation for this project's offering, not a new license over third-party artwork.

## Code, artwork and trademarks have separate terms

- Original project code and documentation are covered by the MIT [LICENSE](LICENSE). That license does not relicense third-party logos, SVG files, embedded XML artwork or trademarks.
- Each icon retains its applicable upstream copyright license and the owner's trademark rights. The upstream license text, fixed source revision and checksum are distributed with this collection. See [THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md](THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md) and `licenses/`.
- This project grants no additional permission for other distribution or brand uses. This policy does not revoke rights independently granted by an upstream license, impose additional restrictions on GPL-covered material, or replace the brand owner's terms. For use beyond the project scope, establish your own applicable rights and permissions.
- A collection license (including MIT, Apache-2.0 or GPL) is not proof of brand-owner authorization. Inclusion, attribution, free availability and this purpose statement do not establish permission or imply endorsement. Brand-specific permissions have not been individually verified; commercial entries record `brandPermissionStatus: not-verified`.
- Preserve artwork, proportions, copyright notices and applicable license texts. Do not present these assets as your own brand or imply affiliation with Microsoft, ServiceNow, other vendors or draw.io.

## AI brands

AI brand additions (including DeepSeek, Qwen, Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude) are collected from Lobe Icons, not represented as individually authorized official brand downloads. Hosted-service classification does not determine the license of any model weights. These commercial entries follow the same draw.io architecture-diagram scope and retain upstream artwork licenses and brand rights.

## Microsoft and ServiceNow

WeChat, WeCom, DingTalk, QQ and Feishu use original color PNG application artwork from their official publisher listings. These assets are proprietary, not MIT-licensed Ant Design substitutes. Publisher identity and source provenance are verified; brand-use authorization is not claimed. See `licenses/official-apps-LICENSE.txt`. Feishu and Lark are cataloged separately.

Microsoft Teams is collected from Dashboard Icons; it is not represented as a download from Microsoft's architecture icon package or as individually authorized by Microsoft. Review the [Microsoft brand guidelines](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/intellectualproperty/trademarks) and any applicable product-specific permission before use. Permissions covering a particular official architecture package must not automatically be applied to a different third-party asset.

The ServiceNow SVG is collected from `bwks/vendor-icons-svg`, whose repository distributes a GPL-3.0 license. The original SVG source is included verbatim as `icons/servicenow.svg` in the ZIP and `assets/icons/servicenow.svg` in the repository, together with `licenses/vendor-LICENSE.txt`. It is an upstream wordmark variant and is not asserted to be the latest official logo. ServiceNow retains its brand rights; review its [legal notices](https://www.servicenow.com/legal.html). The upstream collection's license does not establish ServiceNow's approval.

微信、企业微信、钉钉、QQ 和飞书使用官方发布者提供的彩色 PNG 原图，不再使用单色 Ant Design 替代图。它们是专有品牌素材，不适用 Ant Design 的 MIT 许可；核对发布者及来源不等于取得品牌使用授权。详见 `licenses/official-apps-LICENSE.txt`。飞书与 Lark 分开收录。

- 本项目原创代码和文档采用 MIT [许可证](LICENSE)，不据此将第三方 Logo、SVG、XML 内嵌图形或商标重新授权为 MIT。
- 每项图标保留适用的上游版权许可与品牌方商标权。合集附带原许可文本、固定来源版本和校验值，详见 [第三方说明](THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md) 与 `licenses/`。
- 本项目不额外授予其他发行或品牌用途的许可。本声明不撤销上游许可证独立授予的权利，不向 GPL 素材附加限制，也不替代品牌方条款。超出本项目用途时，需自行确认适用权利与授权。
- 图标集采用 MIT、Apache-2.0 或 GPL，并不证明品牌方已授权。收录、署名、免费提供及用途声明不构成授权或官方背书。商业图标的品牌授权尚未逐项核实，在清单中标为 `brandPermissionStatus: not-verified`。
- 保持图形、比例、版权声明及适用许可文本；不得将其作为自己的品牌，或暗示与 Microsoft、ServiceNow、其他厂商及 draw.io 存在官方关系。

Teams 素材来自 Dashboard Icons，不声称它来自 Microsoft 官方架构图标包或已取得 Microsoft 的逐项授权。使用前应查阅 [Microsoft 品牌规范](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/intellectualproperty/trademarks) 和适用的产品授权；某个官方素材包的许可不能自动套用到另一份第三方素材上。
